Unhappy Trannie destruction?

K about 1 month ago my differential seals had broke, and I had it fixed ASAP due to the leaking. I read the noob guide and was scared as hell considering i dont have trannie money to throw at will, so I did the best or thought i did by tryin my best to make sure the fluid was at a good level to keep the cooling on the trannie as best as possible....

The mechanic that worked on the car to replace the seals didnt even know the right amount to put in the damn car he only checked the fluid while the car was on so it gave bad readings! I thought he knew what he was talkin bout but.... NOPE and now for a month ive been rideing on a fluid level thats about this much ( ) below the first hole on the dip stick. ( its bearly touching the dipstick ) Would this hasten the wear on my trannie or was it just doomed in the first place?

So now when i rev the engine about 3000ish in low gear while tryin to move i hear grinding like noises!

How can i prolong the trannie, and how much do you guys think a rebuild is worth? I went to a guy he said atleast 1000 bucks 600 just to take it out and put back in.

Really appreciate the site i've been reading it for about 2 months now I just wish my first post wasnt about this though.
