TOO SLOW! and I'm BORED!!!

Ight I didn't know where to post this and I figured since it's a problem and needs to be fixed this was the spot! I know I could of searched multiple threads and got "some" answers but I need this all covered in one shot if possible! Ok so I'm so bored with my 98 2.3cl automatic, I'm actually a out to take a major loss and sell it for $1,000s less then I have into replacing parts the previous owner neglected to upkeep and buy a mustang! so here's the deal I dont want to sell it so can anybody tell me how I can make the car a little quicker w/ out it being loud and obnoxious? I'm not up for a motor swap right now either! Any suggestions?

Strip the interior down, better headers, some type of CAI, Custom piping for less restriction from the cat back down....

Thats all I can think of.

for an auto 4 cyl, you don't have many options really. you'd have to go nitrous or boost to make up for the super sluggish 4 cyl auto. Prob why I just went all in and went with a swap.

Would of done the 01-03 CL swap sometime ago...but too much money and hassle. Probably do it somewhere down the line once I feel the tranny cracking finally...which is almost there. Lol.

Swap it to manual, it'll make it a lot less boring.

If you're not looking to do a motor swap, there's not much that's gonna make her faster, unless you built up your f23 and turbo it. If you want a mustang, get a mustang
