Today is a sad day

So I have spent the last half hour reading through all the transmission threads to get an idea of what I am going to be paying. I was leaving my apt and my 97 3.0 just died. I put it in neutral started it back up and continued to the dry cleaners. It happened again on the way back, but I still made it home fine.

I spend most of my time in the ramblings section of azine but I was well aware that it was only a matter of time . . So the next trip I make will be to the shop to have my transmission rebuilt or replaced. I'll be making calls tomorrow to hopefully get some quotes.

I am not sure if I should take it to the dealership or a local place that does good work. If the dealership could let me use a loaner that would be GREAT.
