timing belt

I have another, possibly stupid question but oh well. I have 105000 miles on my 98 3.0 and i'm going to get my timing belt changed. Do I have to get all the seals changed and the water pump changed? Or, can I just get the timing belt done and thats it? What all should the timing belt service include? How much should it cost? I have been quoted $385 for just the timing belt change and 485 for belt and cam seals.......

wow, 250! where in the world did you get that kind of price? I have heard the 3.0s are a bit more expensive than usual.

I made a list of parts needed for a timing belt service on my 98 3.0. Timing Belt, Crank Seals, Cam Shaft seal, water pump, water pump gasket, alternator/ac belt, power steering belt. Does this sound right or is there more???

The HELMs manual also says to change the side engine mount's bolts (2). Since it's removed to access the belts. Not sure if it's recommended/required, but I did this when I did mine. Costs like $1.

The Acura dealership quoted my a little more than $800 for timing belt, Power sterring pump, alternator belt, power steering belt, coolant change and 6.5 hours of labor.

Around $400 is average from non-dealer.

I changed mine at 85k since I believe it's supposed to be change 105k or 84 months which ever first. The timing belt was thin compared to the new one. But it probably could have hauled for like 50k. Who knows? but $400 maintenance, sounds better than a $2000 engine.
