Ticking from Tensioner Pulley
I have a 99 CL that appears to be ticking from the tensioner pulley on the serpentine belt. It only ticks when the car is at idle and goes away when the engine revs up. The belt is new just had timing belt replaced a few months back. Any help on removing or similiar experiences would be appreciated.
Thanks

Tensioner pulley should have a large nut or bolt retaining the pulley. First slack and remove accessory belt. Remove retaining nut/bolt and remove tensioner. Then either remove the pulley bearing grease cap (small screwdriver w/ minimum prying, and more sliding around cap) and clean/repack, or replace tensioner. Reinstall tensioner and belt.

Thanks TexasHonda, I tried an experiment while the car was running, I placed a wrench on the nut of the tensioner and applied pressure on and away from the tensioner and the ticking/clicking noise still remained. Not so sure its the tensioner any more. The odd part is that the noise quickly disappears when the engine is reved up.

Noises in this area of car can be very difficult to pinpoint. Sometimes a tube can be used as a stethoscope to pinpoint the source. Be careful not to get caught in accessory belt.
