starting problems

K im sorry i know its probably been covered before but idk wht search term to look under and anything i put about starting went back to starter battery or alternator dieing out and none can be my problem becuase after i unplugged the car battery for 5 min and plugged it back in it started up fine and i was on my merry way.

So here is the problem i turn on my car engine cranks over starts up normal after 2-3 secs after the initial rpm increase the engine shuts down so i try again now hitting the gas as long as i have the gas going car stays on rite after i take it off it dies again. What could the problem have been my initial thoughts was fuel pump or filter but i had a new filter put in last summer and then idk bout pump because it started working just fine after i had the battery off for a minute.

Any ideas what the problem could be or possibly just sum shitty luck for like 5 min of time.

it only did it that one day and never happened again so idk wtf it could be idle is fine doesnt change at all since i did that seafoam back in last summer and cleaned out the egr valve. Sumtimes the engine runs soo smooth i fuck up my starter cause i try to crank my car while its actually running. So i doubt its anything with engine problem
