Hi! I own a '99 CL 3.0 with 166k miles. It had been stalling here and there for the last few months, only at start up or pulling out of the driveway. I just had the throttle body cleaned two days ago, and it's stalling again. Two times yesterday, with the second one while driving in a parking lot. The whole dash turned off, and I had to use the emergency brake to stop.

My mechanic said that it could need a new idle control or it could be the transmission. He said first to try using 100% ethanol free gasoline first to see if that takes care of the issue (mentioning to be sure to use up first the regular that's in there now).

Any other thoughts?
