rear tire scraping suspension

My '98 2.3 has been making a scraping or rubbing sound from the rear wheels. after checking it out, it seems like the left rear tire has formed a bubble on the suspension-side wall which is scraping against the control arm as it turns. Not surprisingly, it is more pronounced during right cornering.

Do I need new struts? new tires? New springs? Any help is greatly appreciated.
