Rattlin

i need to replace my cat due to cracked manifold causing it to overheat and fry it. what aftermarket is best or can i bypass it altogether? Did replace manifold with headers.

I have the non high flow Magnaflow cat which was $90 and it's a lot smaller than the stock one so they had to weld a big flange on which would add to your labour costs. I just got 35 mpg on the highway, I think the smaller cat might have something to do with that. They also make a high flow cat that the tuner type people on here like but I heard it increases emissions because the dwell time over the catalyst is reduced too much.
