radiator
what's up, people... i'm new here, and i gotta problem
my radiator's busted... not to the point that it's affecting my engine badly, and i still get heat, but it's leaking, and it's ugly, sometimes smoking- i guess from the anti-freeze hitting the headers and such
i know i should probably just get a new one, but i was wondering if anyone has had the same thing happen; how much they spent; if they went OE or aftermarket; and where they found it (website, dealer, NAPA, etc.)
it's a 97 2.2L 4cyl manual if that helps
thanks

Honda radiators are notorious for cracking at the fan shroud mounts and for the end tanks separating. So, to answer your question, yes, it is a common thing. So, you have two options. You can go and get a OEM radiator for about $298.00, or you can get the Visteon aftermarket unit for around $100.00. I hope that helps. Oh yeah, by the way, I am a tech so I see a lot of that stuff. Later!
