Passenger Side Mirror frame

My Wife has a '97 Acura CL 3.0 and swiped a large orange cone with her side mirror yesterday.

The mirror itself is fine and works good, but the housing around the mirror has detached from the door frame and I don't see a way of reattaching it other then glue. Is there a way that I am missing to reattach?

Thank You,

Robert.....

the mirror is held on by a few bolts attached to plastic.
what I think happened; the cone broke a few plastic anchors on impact.
if this did indeed happen, you are correct in thinking that glue will fix it...that is if plastic anchors are salvageable.

if not, you will have to replace the whole mirror cover. and I dont think they sell just the cover.

the door panel has to be taken off slightly in order to access the bolts behind the mirror
