Need to correct headlight orientation (noob request)

The headlights on my CL seem to be pointing way too down for my liking. Can someone tell me how I can change the orientation?

Thanks!

there should be a small dial on the back of the headlight that turns which adjusts where the beam shines. that being said, i turn and turn my dial and nothing happens.

This how I adjusted my headlights:

1. Pop the hood and look at the headlight assembly on each side.
2. Directly above each headlight assembly, there should be a metal frame/panel type of thing with only two bolts in it. The bolts are about 6-8 inches apart with a small level indicator (one of those bubble things) in between.
NOTE: If you have a 3.0, there is a plastic cover that shields the area above the headlights. Just remove that plastic cover and continue.
3. Take a 10mm socket and loosen the two bolts but DO NOT take them out. Your headlight assembly should now be able to move up and down freely.
4. Adjust the headlight to where you want it and while holding the headlight at the desired level, tighten the bolts down.
5. Do the same with the other headlight assembly.
6. If you have a 3.0, put the plastic cover back on when you're done making adjustments.

I hope this helps and good luck.

I'm pretty sure the dial behind the headlight allows you to adjust the beam from side to side, not up and down. I haven't messed with that but from what I hear, it takes A LOT of turning before you notice any changes.

ya like i said, turning mine does nothing. theres a good chance i messed something up when i was blackhousing the headlights. i also tried adjusting them like you mentioned in your earlier post. that was the first thing i tried. its still not where i want it to be though.

i thought there were just some screws you had to turn. i could be wrong again, but the listed instructions above seems a little hard.

he is right, there is a dial you have to turn with a 10mm, when i got my hids i was like depressed cuz they were bright and all but they aimed straight to the ground then i figured out how to adjut the headlight, do it in the dark or fairly dark and agianst the wall so you see if they are both even or not

I got a 2.2 so i may be wrong but on mine they're are dials on each headlight and you basically need to do it at night against a wall and adjust em with a screw driver.

All you have to do is adjust the dials with a phillips screw driver, you would have found that info if you searched

Hey I'm just repeating what a guy at the local Acura dealership told me to do. And it worked well for me, so now my headlights aren't pointing straight down anymore.
