thanks guys but look ill show you some figures My car Is using way to much gas at idle its about 7.2% to 10% short fuel trim long is about 1.7 i replaced the air filter the fuel filter and spark plugs going to do roder and cap and wires my egr valve is clean look inside of it i got acura cl 3.0 1997 theres no vacum leaks i put a smoke machine tester to it umm what else the picoscope graph on zirconium it looks ugly goes up like a hill then its spiky shoots down a little then spikes back up feels like a missfire but no codes come up umm i too the air screw out of the manifold clean back there it was a little carbonated. the car is staying rich switching sometime to lean the o2 sensers are work im thinking the car is thinking that its cold still when its really warm and it keep inriching it but i dont know what else to do has anyone had this probblem its winter in mass i was getting 16 17 miles per gallon now im getting 13 can anyone help me im going to try a engine cleaner and i did throw techstron in it to clean the injectors still not working
sorry dont know too much of everything you said, but when i was getting that shitty gas mileage i went for the entire package.
I cleaned out the egr valve was like half clogged, changed spark plugs wires and cap,and both air and fuel filters, checked my tires and alignment(did you know shitty alignment can also kill some your gas mileage...actually idk i just took it at face value may or may not be true).
O b4 you do all that with your old sparkplugs still in run seafoam through ur engine twice, Or basically throw one full can through the vacume hoses use both pcv valve and brake booster lines.
Then use another half can in ur gas and half in your oil. Drive around like that for one tank or less than 200 miles and get a oil change and replace your sparkplugs and reset the ecu.
Doing all that made my avg gas mileage go from 17-18 to averaging 22-23. Hope This helps o the only reason i say 1 full can is because most ppl dont do seafoam every 20,000 miles like the can says so theres always more build up then one "servings" worth.
