Hello,

The lights on my dashboard keep flickering. This happened occasionaly. Then, I had my alternator replaced. Then the guy that replaced it told me to get my battery checked. I did, and apparently the alternator drained the battery. SO, I got a new battery. NOw, the lights on the dashboard are flickering even more than they were before. Now, I'ts happening a few times a day where as before it happened maybe once a week.

ALso every once in a while the car alarm randomly acts strange. Actually, the car alarm went off the day after I got a new alternator. ( It also happened 4 or 5 months before my alternator went bad.)

DO you think I have wire problems? Or is teh alternator still bad. It was a refurbished one. WHat should I have checked? Suggestions?

 

Sounds like the alternator still, the car alarm will go off if the battery starts getting too low
