I have a 97 acura cl 2.2 - manual trans. when I try to start the car-- I get nothing. Lights work, radio, sunroof. If I keep switching the key off and then on, it will start. any suggestions?

 

ignition? has your car had the ignition recall performed yet. If you don't know, call Acura cust. service with you VIN and they'll tell you.

 

I bet its the starter.

 

Mine would do the same thing, eventually it just took a shit and wouldn't start at all.

The starters on the 2.x's are easy as hell to change. It took me literally 10 min max to change it. It's 2 bolts, of different size, not sure which size though, 12 and 14mm I think. Maybe 17 on the larger one.
