idler pulley/tensioner wont tighten right
i replaced my idler pulley and put the new one on w/ the dust cover from the old one. trying to tighten it every which way. if it's too loose it loosens itself when it turns, if its too tight it doesn't turn at all
theres no "middle ground" so i tried looking for problems. on the new pulleys box it says the bearing is seal and may not need the dust cover. i did put the dust cover on, but i can't figure out why it would not work with the dust cover? i really don't want to take all the stuff apart again. was a long and hard job on my fingers
