I Need Help Can't Figure Out The Probblem
Okay I have done everything possible my car is getting 13 miles to the gallon its running rich I looked at the hoses and the rotor and cap, and wires and they are all fine I did this think and it said my map sensor is low voltage and also my map sensor generic is too I don’t want to replace this yet because I don’t want to through money away if that wont fix it any other ideas I did do seafoam and I’m really pissed I just can't figure it out my friends dad (Acura Mechanic) said take the throttle body off and look behind it and check because maybe carbon build up? And also I am buying a new pcv valve because mine working but getting stuck and one have any thought please help me.
Unless you are real leadfoot, I would suspect a problem such as ruptured fuel pressure regulator diaphragm (smell vacuum reference line for gas), leaking fuel injector orings (sniff closely around injector tops and bottoms w/ engine running), failing O2 sensor (replace if it's over 100K miles), really dirty air filter (duh), blocked PCV (replace), or some combination of above.
good luck
good luck
I did fuel and air filter there’s no leaks smells good just smelling rich out the exhaust my car doesn’t hit more than 2500 hundred rpms and I drive around in cruse control to save gas I just dkn what else to do.
Want to help
We have the same problem. I used this Acura Cl spark plug wires , an essential part of your ignition system and handle an amazing amount of voltage, up t0 100,000, in their role in the starting of your vehicle. Many people choose to do their own tune-up, when other important ignition system components.
