How do I remove wiring junction from fan shroud?

Obviously a novice question! On a 3.0 CL, lower side of AC fan shroud there is a connector/junction with a brown wire from the harness going into the top and a wire in the bottom that runs to the block. There is a tab welded to the shroud that this assembly is mounted on. So, either this assembly slides up and off the mounting tab, or the bottom wire is supposed to pull out. It kind of looks like there is a push to release tab for the the bottom wire but I an having no success getting this apart. Who knows? Thanks!

most wire harnesses are push clips!
however, depending on location will have different kind of push clip harnesses.
I dont have a CL but have come across difficult harnesses in my TL...

some clips require you to take it off the metal slide, before you can push clip in.
some clips require a flat head screw driver to either push in or push out clip.

I'm inclined to say, since it is on a metal slide, you need to get it off the slide first, before you can push in clip

Thanks - I might just cut the wire so I can get the shroud out, then I can get at the thing and solder the wires together later.
