hood support lifts

hey all, so ive noticed that my support lifts have grease outside of the cylinders is this a sign to replace them?

Mines blew out last year. Replace them before they go bad because it's a bitch when u don't have any support! I bought some generic ones made for our cars for like 20$ each online. Check on eBay!
I looked around in my area, but only the dealer could get them, but they were quite expensive. So i went on eBay and got good deal.

They are very easy to replace, i was pleasantly surprised :-).
