Headlight Probs....Ideas?
I currently own a 99 3.0, and lately I have noticed that my driver side headlight bulb goes out roughly once a month or so maybe a little longer. Just curious if anyone has any suggestions as to why it may do this. I was thinking maybe a short in the electrical system or maybe a faulty housing. I seem to blow lights WAYYY to fast in that thing. The passanger side has been good for the most part but it has ran through 1 or 2 in the last 6 months so.... i dont know. I had replaced the factory bulbs with PIAAs and made sure NOT to touch the bulb itself. While taking it to a friend that works for honda for a small tune up he said the bulb was bad and threw a stock one in for the time being till I could get a replacement PIAA. Before I was able to get a new PIAA that stock one blew as well. Either way any suggestions or ideas would be great. Thnx.

Your getting too much power to that light. If you have a volt tester, check to see how many volts its getting compared to the other one. A lightbulb should last you even longer than 6 months. Depending on how much you use your lights.
