having issues at 4k rpm

whats up guys, i have a 1999 acura 2.3cl 5spd with 206k miles. engine was replaced 3 years ago. spark plugs and wires replaced 8 months ago. the cat is going bad and thats the only code thats coming up for the check engine light. In any gear when i get just before 4k rpm the car starts jerking bad like a miss fire and wont go any further. any suggestions ?
