Are you kidding me? How much do you guys normally put in a tank? Best I've gotten was 230 all highway. Just below a quarter of a tank, I'm lucky to hit 200, and that's on regular mixture. I can't get shit with this winter gas. It's not like a drive crazy either, I do the speed limit 95% of the time. I usually put 9.5 - 11 gallons on a refill.

I drive a 2.2CL and I get from 270 to 300. My old Accord with the same motor would get 300 every tank.
I shift around 3 grand, though I still have a lead foot in this car and take off more often than not. The gas gauge in the Acura shows really low around 250, but only 9 or 10 gallons will fill, so I figure I can get to 300 most every time.

Time for a tune up and fuel filter maybe? granted my milage is mixed driving but it's about 70/30 city/highway. The car is still new to me too, i'm romping on it every time I drive it!

Well, comparably I guess I'm doin well.
I get 24 mpg all city. When you do the math that's 330 miles to ever 13/14 gallons which is between the 3/4 tank mark and the E. I had a little over 400 mpg when the needle was on E at one time.
The Car: A stock 98 2.3 5-speed with NGK plugs, K&N filter in stock intake, 5w30 engine oil, BP regular octane, and with shifting between 3-5 grand.

I use Petro Canada Fuel 87 octane. Maybe you should use that also.

I myself usually run the tank to 3~ gallons left, and I pull around 310-325 miles a tank.
This is a bit low, but I havent had the car tuned up in a while, plus I have a misfire going off (which eats gas like a bitch.)
I have a 2.2 5spd. and I also always fill the double deuce with 87 octane.

My last 2 tanks were 92 octane.. i've switched to 87 to see what happens... I also checked my tire pressure and it was low - 28psi in the front. Pumped her to 31. I'll post my results in a week or so

gas tank
Alright well recently I noticed that I could hear noise coming from the gas tank I could hear the gas moving around, I usually wouldn't notice because I'd have tha music on but recently I've been hearing it.....is that even normal because you usually don't hear that in other cars...... Yeah prolly sounds like I'm paranoid about my car but I'm just curious

'98 3.0 here - using 87 octane
Drive mostly highway(about 40-60 miles daily), but rush hour stop and go traffic (New York) in the evenings kills gas mileage. I recently got a full tune up. I used to average 17-19mpg before the tune-up, now I'm getting 22-24. Tune up helps alot!

Bagel Bomber
1998 3.0 87 Octane - just got back from a trip to Atlantic city, and i was VERY happy to see that i was getting about 400 miles per tank. I didn't expect that at all. of course thats all highway miles and i accelerate easy, i see no need to race to the next stop light.
