Does anyone know how to remove the foot rest beside the brake pedal? I'm trying to pull up the carpet, but I can't figure out exactly how to remove it. There are 2 holes; one is at the top, and one is at the bottom...the problem is that I don't know what kind of tool to use. I've used 10 different sizes of screw drivers, but nothing has worked.

 

thats the dead pedal...and you can remove it with a hex/alan head screw driver or key, i had mine off yesterday. its only got cheap plastic threads on the actual pedal part, so it may take some time if the threads are messed up, good luck.

 

I believe it's an allan key or a star key
