I own a 99 CL and I can't figure out why when I push the lock and unlock on my acura factory key chain the car doesn't beep at me anymore when the doors lock or unlock. I think i pushed some buttons on the pad and set it for silent. It really suck on sunny days when I try and use the automatic lock button on my key chain and can't tell if my car is locked or not. The lights still flash but no sound any suggestion? I have disconnected the battery and reconnected it but that didn't make a difference. everybody talks about the black box for the alarm and removing the fuses where is that?

 

push and hold down the Lock & Trunk buttons on your remote for 3-5 seconds or until you see red led flashes...

Thanks for this fix, haven't heard the chirp sound since June and it's nice to hear it again, I thought I broke it somehow.
