Thumbs down eBay exhaust too loud and raspy

Hey guys! I am the proud owner of a 99 2.3 Cl. First time posting but I have trolling this forum for awhile and yall seem to be very helpful. I wanted to get your opinion on what to about my terrible decision to install the $100.00 N1 knockoff exhaust from eBay. It came with a header, a test pipe, and the cat back. There is a resonator after the test pipe but this thing sounds awful! I had original intentions of keeping my stock cat but the rear bolts were so seized up I couldn't get them off. The silencer really makes the tone worse IMO it is way buzzier with it in. The only other mods done are a 2.75 in CAI and a K&N filter. So what do you guys think would be the best thing to do in this situation? I searched this and other forums too see if anyone has a definite solution but came up with nothing. I dunno if another resonater would help or maybe ditching the canister. I am really wishing I just spent the cash on the Apexi WS2 system at this point. Any advise would be appreciated!

Dude i know a friend who threw this on his 98 Accord....it was loud as hell, raspy and overall he did loose some power too....

I would suggest putting ur stock back on and buying another exhaust from a well reputed manufacturer or take it to a decent exhaust shop in the neighborhood and putting a resonator and a better muffler....

Well the stock exhaust was in bad shape and had quite a few leaks, rusty, and it was about to fall off. I was impulsive and this is where it got me. I do think a resonator might help to some degree but not much. You think a glass pack or something will help if I ditch the canister? I really don't want to put a stock muffler on it, I wouldn't even mind it being loud but the raspy buzz is gross sounding

Seriously dude....i think the exhaust got some decent piping....take it to an exhaust shop and get a resonator and if the drone is not gone and it doesnt tune down then get another muffler....another $200 and you should be done

In the n00b guide it says all exhausts are from 94-97 accord...
that is for all CL's? I found a really good deal on an exhaust system, it's for a 94-97 accord 4dr/coupe. Wanted to be positive before purchasing as it is an online purchase.
Thanks!

i mean its a pretty good deal if your getting headers + 3rd cat delete + catback exhaust for $100...i would buy it and take it to a shop....get a resonator installed....change the muffler (depending on the sound) and call it a day....cant go wrong paying $200-300 and getting everything

honestly, intake header exhaust does nothing but make noise and cost you money.

ha you should hear mine got the h2 headers and down pipe stock converter and a 97 accord cat back 2 1/2 too 4 1/2 o man!!!! but i got such good back presser i dont care for the nose i think its funny. she good i just need to heat wrap the headers and down pipe to get rid of the rapzy niss but cant complane only 90$ for headers 160$ cat back 20$ for rubber mounts so if you r a DIY do it and just get a new muff i got full intake to the ground and headers back so much faster then stock
