does anybody know what size the positve battery cable is?

so does anybody know what size the huge lookin cable is? im looking to get some new audio terminals and a new battery installed... my negative terminal buildin up mad acid fluff,, and everytime i rinse it off it jus build up again after a while.. any tips on how to clean this would help and the size of the positive cable thanks..

use a brass wire brush and clean it off thoroughly. It's better if you have a dremmel with the brass brush attachment at 15000 rpm, works quickly and it's a lot easier.

BTW, put on some goggles if you do this. Last time I removed my battery cable, corrosion dust flew under my sunglasses and in my right eye. I now have scarring on my eye and I'm partially near-sighted in it too.

I had the same problem. I just cleaned it up with some baking soda, water and a .99 cent battery brush from pepboys. Then i coated it with vaseline (6 mos ago) and havent had any acid yet.

i dont think you can buy aftermarket positive cables, only negative because the positive cable plugs into certain spots.
