Clutch Linkage Problem?
Just came back from college break (3 hour trip) everything was perfectly fine in my 1997 2.2 cl 5 spd, went to make a beer run the next day and found that my clutch wasn't catching where it usually does (1/2 way to the floor) instead it was catching at about 2 " off the ground, it was still driveable and all but it was extremely hard to have smooth transitions into the next gear. Is this a sign that pressure plate is gone? or could it simply be a problem with the clutch linkage wire being loosened? if it is how do i adjust this, cause in my old prelude it was a hydrolic clutch and had to bring it to a shop to be adjusted but i would like to fix this on my own since i've been on this forum for awhile and def not a noob, any help would be great thanks!!!!
Since your not a noob, you know that we have a hydraulic clutch. Check to see if your fluid is low first. Then check the slave cylinder, pull back the boot and see if there is some fluid in there, because there shouldn't be any. If that is broken might as well replace the master cylinder too.
