This started 3 days ago day. I noticed the car was idling a little rough. Not bad though, when I stop at a traffic light the check engine starts blinking. The car is running ok for the most part. I drive 40 miles a day to and from work. I'll unplug the battery to reset the light and again, when It idels for a bit the light flashes again. The car isn't overheating, it's accelerating ok. someone mentioned maybe it could be bad gas in the tank. I'm just not sure.. I tuned the car up about 6 months ago. any help or advice would be much appreciated

I know the gas cap could cause a light to come on but don't think it would cause it to blink. Sounds like something like maybe oil pressure or something that would change with the engine speed (at idle) since thats the only time its doing it. I am not sure what to even look for. Have you tried to read the code and see if its throwing any code at all?
