CD Player issues

So i finally got a kit to install my sony cd player. which is funny, because it looks like crap and the kit makes the dash look stupid, but it has a ipod plug and was free, so i'll take what i can get. But anyway, after taking way to long to get the stupid thing to work (i had to go and return the first 2 kits because autozone is stupid, then the radio itself didnt fit because it didnt have the cage) i finally got it to fit and everything in. But now it wont turn on. i figured my wiring might have come loose so i checked all the connections, no problem. finally i got annoyed and put the stock back in, and it wont turn on eaither, the security light blinks, and it'll spit out a cd if there's one in it, but that's it. any ideas?

Once radio is removed, you have to enter the security code. Check the back side of the cigarette ash box and glove box for a label w/ a 6-digit code. Also check your owner's manual and any documentation for the security code card. I would pull the BackUp fuse in the underhood fuse box. This resets the security system and should cause the word Code to appear in the display. Enter 6-digit code and system should restart. You'll have to reenter all radio station pre-sets.

good luck
