I made a thread before but this is something new and could help others.

I realized that my CD player is probably from a non-premium CL. My car was obviously broke into before I bought it and the dealer but in a new CL cd player. I changed the battery blah blah need code. Since it is a different CL's cdplayer. Am I screwed? I read on the forum that the car has the code.

 

I think your probably going to have to remove the cd player and then call up acura and tell them the number thats on the bottom of your player.

I got the serial code.. gonna call ACURA tommorow and call for the code

I'm bringing up that I know it is for free cause I know mad CL owners n theeeeyyyyyyy got it for free.

 

They makin me come in for the code n shit.

Rule is they have to see my drivers license and ownership match plus serial code.

They didn't say anything about a charge so I'm not paying shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

went to acura and this guy helped me right away

for other peeps if u gotta go there bring your ref # too.

the dude came out to do it for me. took out the cd player to confirm the #s and got it working.

my local dealership is now 1-1-0 record
