So on my 99 2.3cl the ignition keeps randomly turning off which causes the car to die and cause its an auto i have to pull over to start it again and sometimes the ingition wont activate at all when i turn the key into position. Ignition fuse? Usually when i press down on the engine bay fusebox that gets it going again. I was reading hondatuning and a writer had a similar issue and they told him to check the main relay, i looked it up online but couldnt find out where it is located in the car can anybody help me out?

Very simple answer to your question. The problem is something from manufacturing and they actually had a recall on all of our cars. if you look up your vin you can tell if it has had the recall fixed or not. Or you can bring it to your local ACURA dealership and they should replace and fix it for free.

that sounds like something may be going bad with the key or the ECU. Usually when the switch starts going bad it does like mentioned above and the car will shut off. The 97 doesn't have the immobilizer like the 98-99 does so I have never had to look into that problem before
