HEY GUYS ! new to the CL WORLD & i am already hooking my forest green 97 2.2 cl , im doin the "JDM" LOOK !! and alreadyd have many jdm parts on the way ! i ordered a bra for it and was wondering how it is in weather conditions? do you guys recommend it on 24/7? i live in florida and the sun beems hard and random hard rain fall...... Also has any body put a bike rack on it yet? do they sell any? probably wont work because of sunroof but who knows ! thanks guys pics soon to come !!

Welcome, to answer your questions, the bra can be left on, but keep an eye on the underneath because it makes it harder to clean underneath. And yes, the 94-97 accord 2 door window visors fit. As for the bike rack, a few members have done them, are you looking for a roof rack or trunk rack?

I know Yakima will work, basically anything that will work for 94-97 accord will work for our cars

hey i have the f22 engine with auto transmission(97 cl) , are these prone to failure like the 2nd gens and 3.0s? mines feels a bit rough changing gears but i think its cus i have a bad motor mount....these also came in accord's and never heard of serious tranny problems like cl's

 

Yes, they do have the same issues. Change that motor mount, and change the trans fluid. Check the fluid after it's drained, see if it's burnt or has metal shavings in it.

 

if i get after market headers,whats the deal with the cat and o2 sensors? remove cat? keep stock cat and headers just bolt on?where do the sensors go? thanks

they don't have many options for headers for that car man..PAIN IN THE ARSE! you gotta look for 97 accord. some sell "race header" with a test pipe in place of cat..not sure how they would sound.. good luck and welcome to acurazine.
