my car has 142000 miles still on original tranny i know you guys said 3.0 tranny sux today i was driving my mirrorless heap of scrap metal and now it is like going into neutral for a second before shifting of popping into gear how do i prevent myself from rebuilding or or getting a new tranny

if my tranny goes im gonna drive this car off a bridge or firebomb it and leave it in newark my money goes to fixing this damn car and i wanna start modding i love her but shes killing me

what can i do this is the first time this has happened and i want to nip this prob asap

 

If it's already slipping, you're screwed man. I wish I could give you a better answer, but once the bearings and things start going on the 3.0 tranny, it's toast. Only a matter of time, you now have pieces of metal flowing back and forth inside the gear housing. That's what happened to mine, the bearings broke off the back of the tranny and wreaked havack on the rest of the tranny.
