Bad TPS?Vaccum Leak?Tranny?Help Pls.
I was driving my 98 CL 3.0 AT. And i notice the idle of my car when im not
steping on the gas is kickin up and down to 3000rpm-5000rpm. and When im stepping on the gas, the idle goes up almost the redline. and this morning i checked that the tps is no good. i tried to put the car on drive and it will take few seconds to move. and i already order a brand new tps online and just waiting for it. could it be the tranny? or the tps? please help...

revving that high sounds like the TPS could be sticking. I would not drive it until you replace the TPS first. Replace the TPS before worrying about anything else. Some symptoms are similar to the idle air control valve IACV problems, but not up to 3-5k rpms.
Replace TPS first, then wait to diagnose vacuum or tranny.

Yep, sounds like the TPS, they go bad on our cars a lot
