Car is Beautiful!

Test drove it trans was fine. Next day it started acting up. Checked the Fluid. BLACK. I clean the filter. did the 3x3 with Honda ATF. Test Drove it about 20 miles and it was fine.

Now took it up a hilly area and its having a hard time going from 2ed to 3ed.

I just want to know if the tranny is bad, or do I need to do one more flush or if something I missed is wrong

 

Just over 160k miles

 

Was there any metal shavings on the drain bolt or in the fluid itself? The internal clutch packs could be worn down which means you'd need a trans rebuild. Mine was black from about ~120k. I was scared that changing the fluid at that point would do more harm than good. Trans finally gave out at 178k without any warning. Basically what I'm trying to say is only time will tell
