ABS self-diagnostics are the best way to determine the problem. Short the 2-wire (red & green-blue) service check connector (SCC) under the glove box and dash, turn keyswitch to ON, and read the short flashes. Codes are flashed as tens digit-1sec pause- units digit, w/ 5-sec pause between multiple codes are repeat of single code. There is a single digit code 1.

Do you hear the ABS pump come on at startup and pump till ABS light illuminates?

Post back code/s and I can supply some guidance on repair.

good luck

Connect a bare wire between the two sockets of the connector to short.

It's weird. I got my tires rotated and balanced yesterday and my ABS light is gone now.

ABS checks for fault each time ignition is turned ON. If the fault disappears, the ABS light is not illuminated.

You could well have a dirty wheel sensor. The vibration and shock to the wheel from removal/installation may have dislodged enough dirt/grime to cause the sensor output to be adequate to avoid a wheel sensor fault. It may or may not return.

Wait and see. Sometimes problems resolve themselves. I've learned that jumping quickly to repair a non-critical fault can be costly and sometimes un-necessary.

good luck
