Just about everything on my suspension is shot, my struts and shucks are done, my power steering is leaking, and i believe the pump is going and main power steering hose is cracked, joy. And the struts are so bad it just ate through a new pair of tires... but yeah i was wondering would it be worth the fix at 175xxx? Everything else is sound on it. Not to much damage, jjust the tranny is going.

 

With that many miles, it's not surprising that those things are wearing out. The question is, is it worth it to you to fix. A set of bushings, and shocks and struts could give you a whole new suspension and ride. Really depends on if you plan to keep the car around or not

 

hmm, the tranny going would concern me the most. My suspension is shot as well, but it's still going.

Personally I'd have that tranny checked out before you go investing more money. Always go for the biggest problem first, because it very well may mean the death of the car, if you cannot afford the repair. good luck!
