My 99 has worked great, typical tran issues and old age, but recently the alarm the keyless entry only kind of works. It's not the typical post I have read about the alarm going off on it's own. My alarm won't set. I can't lock the doors using the remote, and if I go to unlock them, it sounds like only the passenger door is unlocking. It all happened at one time, so I figure the root cause of the short is causing the other problems, possibly a bad switch of some sort in the drivers side door that won't lock and thus does not allow the alarm to arm. Shoot me some ideas people, thanks.

sounds like a door lock actuator to me; but the alarm should still arm? sit inside the car and try to lock it; are any of the door lights or dome lights on? a bad jamb switch would cause it not to lock,but still unlock.try wigglin the doors makin sure theyre both shut tight..
