Hello and thanks for any help. I'm working on my daughters 99 2.3cl auto. I'm getting codes listed in title for transmission range sensor circuit malfunction. I search for range sensor for the car and only came up with shaft speed sensors for a part..so on the car it struggles to find a gear when shifting especially 1st to second. The car revs up I have to let off the gas to get it to shift in gear. If I manually have it in gear it stays in gear but in d4 it neutrals out between gears. I've cleaned solenoids and tested them to best of my ability. I dont know which solenoid controls what and dont want to just start replacing them blindly. So I dont know if the CEL codes are from the poor shifting or the poor shifting is from the codes. Or maybe the transmission is toast. Thanks for any help.
