I have a 98 acura cl 3.0 with code p1739. I know there are recalls on this vehicle. Is this code covered under the recalls or what does this mean?

 

Go to any major auto parts store... ask them to use the scan tool on your car... if you CEL (check engine light) is on then they can tell you exactly whats up.. fyi the scanner plugs in behind the ashtray. at least thats where mine is on my 97


p.s. dont go to auto zone. their idiots

 

p1739 is the 3rd clutch pressure switch in he transmission as far as i know there have been no recalls for this. I think they extended the warranty on some vehicles but yours will not even fall under that because I think its 93 months or 109000 miles
