3.0 cl stalling
This is my first post to this forum.
I own a 1998 Acura CL which currently has approx. 70,000 miles ( 110,000 kms.)
Just recently it has started stalling for no reason. This is my wifes car and she advises the vehicle will just stall and stop running when she is driving around the city. She will put the car in neutral and it will start up and will run fine. This has happened five or six times during the past couple of months.
I had the mechanic check the engine on the computer and everything checked out O-K. The mechanic suggested I use one of the ignition keys that we haven't used ( our second key) as he felt the computer chip inside the key could be the problem. We tried this and it still stalls periodically.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Could this be an ignition problem, fuel injector, fuel pump or some electrical connection malfunctioning?
Any information / suggestion would be appreciated as I will be taking my car into the Acura dealer in the next week or two.

I had the same problem and the recall fixed it right up.

Have been away on holidays.
Took the car to Acura dealer and the ignition recall seemed to fix the problem as it hasn't stalled since.
Thanks to all for the info and assistance.
