3.0 Aem Intake Touching Undertray!

After installing the AEM V2 for the 3.0, i noticed a very small part of the filter was touching the undertray of the car. i know the filter is not supposed to touch anything, but i let it be because i wasnt sure what to do. so whenever i turn kind of sharply, the intake hits the undertray and vibrates and sounds like a machine gun... im pretty sure i put the cone as high as it can go onto the pipe because it would not go any higher so im pretty sure thats not the problem. there was an adaptor piece that works as a spacer that came with, the directions werent very clear so i put it on to my best knowledge. so if you have installed a aem v2 for the 3.0, can you please post a pic of how they bolted the intake to the car.

I have a V2 too. The pipe is too long so the filter will touch the plastic cover. Try to position the end of the pipe as high as possible. This is how my intake look on the car:

Not trying to hijack your thread, and sorry I have no suggestions or advice. But I couldn't just let that go. When I read it i just burst out laughing and couldn't stop for some reason.
