Hello I am new to this forum and have a problem. I have a 2003 acura cls 6spd and the problem is its having hard starts. It sometime takes a long 6-8 seconds to start or it will start and kinda turn off the same time then the second try at starting it starts right away. Its fine after that but also not sure if this is related but it also has Sluggish acceleration, Say I am at 40-60 mph with rpms anywhere from 3500 to 4500 and step on the gas the rpm bounces a little then takes off.

I just bought the car last month it has been dealer kept oil changed every 3k miles timing belt water pump done at dealer. Not sure if clutch is done b.c I can't find a reciept for that but ex owner told me he changed it.

Wrong forum, but it could be a dying battery, alternator, starter.

I would go to autozone or some place with free checks and get your battery tested as a first step.

 

Hey man you should try asking this in the Acura CL 2nd generation forum because an 03 is a 2nd gen. I think they could help you alot better because they all have the same car.
