1999 Acura CL Power Steering

I have to replace the pressure line from pump to Rack and Pinion. The initial removal process was fairly simple until I got to the Rack and Pinion. From underneath, for all practical purposes, the access is nearly impossible since the pressure line in not in plain view.
I went to picknpull and pulled a line off a 97 just for the experience. Again, it was fairly simple until I got to the Rack and Pinion. I ended up going through the engine compartment to get the pressure line loose.
I ended up removing the charcoal canister to get the line loose and used the double wrench method to get leverage. Bear in mind, I was not being gentle because saving anything was not relevant.

I am now at the same position on our 99 and care is highly relevant thus the problem.

The pressure line going into the Rack and Pinion is really tight. It is so tight that the double wrench method would not work. I have concluded that again I will need to remove the charcoal canister to get better access but I am reluctant after that. Since the line is so tight I am concerned that I may break a lip off the Rack and Pinion thus rendering it non-repairable.

That's where you guy come in. Has anyone had the same problem? What is the risk of breaking the Rack & Pinion? Is there a special tool to get the line off. Am I wrong that the charcoal canister has to come off for leverage?

I already have a flare tool wrench and a crow foot. I will be going this AM to get a long extension for the crowfoot. If I need something else, let me know.

I am presently soaking the Flare Nut/Rack&Pinion/Line with PB Blaster as a precautionary measure.

Any input would be sincerely appreciated.
