my son got a 1998 cl 3.0 and was doing some body work on it over the spring. when he finished he charged up the battery and got it running while it was on the charger now the car will not shut off... i pulled the coil wire to shut the motor off but it just drains the battery and still wont shut off... where do i need to start diagnosing this?

 

won't shut off as in the key comes out and it keeps running? sounds like the ignition switch recall

 

thanks i took a look at it and there is a loose wire in the harness
