i dunno if you followed all the bs with my car since last last january (08) when i swapped the motor. Anyways it started with vtec not kickin it and running in limp mode since...well till this day still. So the car still ran, then september came around which is when i left for school, so i took it with me and drove it through the winter. After a brutal winter which destroyed the car (cracked bumper/lip, bent subframe etc..) it started fuckin around (wouldnt start, run like shit etc) and i couldnt figure it out and till this day have no clue whats up..

The plan was to start workin when i got back from school and get her back up proper but it never happen. Got a job but didnt make near enough to support the CL the way i wanted. then my dad got tired of staring at the car in the garage so i towed it to my moms in niagra where it sits in the garage to this day with nothing changed.

The thing that officially put a hold on the plans for the CL was that in july i snapped 2 legiments in my shoulder mountain biking which took me out of commision for 2months, which meant i couldnt do anything thus leading me to lose my job which also meant no money, so no CL at all. Im finally back in action and lookin for a job but im also in school so i wont be makin nowhere near enough money for me to dump into the car which blows..

So it sits..

 

So whats the update? Still not running and has no vtec? I feel bad for you bro :/

I wish we could have an east coast CL meet, there would be some of the sickest 1st gens at that meet. Northeast does it well when it comes to 1st Gens. Did you ever get to drive it when vtec worked?

 

yea the first month it was mint but i would have to reset the ecu everytime vtec kicked in

i'll never forget it though cuz i remeber my buddy in his CL-S sayin that he had a hard time keepin up with her on the on-ramp, man she wrapped up fast
