i thought cl drivers would be smarter than to run a redlight with a child in the car, and a firetruck heard close by

I believe the child you are referring to is the 11 year old that did not make it.

I can hear those emergencys a distance away with my stereo up, so its not like she didnt hear it. I really feel bad for her family having just lost a child, but come on. The fire department is not at all to blaime here.

In case you didnt read what I wrote, I said that I did feel bad. But the firetruck is not to blaime here. She should have looked around for the sirens. Its not like they are quiet. She NEGLECTED to yield to an emergency vehicle.
anybody would go crazy if their kid was killed in something like that. but really she is at fault in this case. I'm not a parent but everytime my gf's babysister is in the car i make sure i drive safely, as long as we get to where we need to be safe. thats all that matter.
i have a little sister (13) when she is in the car i don't f*ck around but accidents happen.no matter who is at fault a little girl died BOTTOM LINE!! i dont care whois at fault. she is the innocent one who caught the raw deal in this whole situation. the fd and the mother and you guys can argure day about who to blame, its not gonna bring her back! as i said before
and my thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

i was going to post the pic of the acident from the providence jouranl up today but u guys already had it up. Its very sad, and i feel bad for the girl's family, howere the mother did runa red light. I feel worse for the firefighter that was driving, apparently he is not doing very well coping with the tragedy.
I have an 8 year old son & I drive so cautious(sp) with him in the car. I cant belive she ran a red light though. I feel for her & her family for their loss, but she is def at fault. I feel horrible for the firefighter driving too. He has to live with that shit forever also..sad story
well it was probably green when she went, and then the firetruck made it into a red, because emergency vehichles such as firetrucks, ambulances can switch a green light to all the lights as red lights, but she should have heard the truck coming
