Suede'd door panel!!!
Ok here's a teaser pic of the door panels being wrapped in suede. The first three pictures are parts of the upper door panel being wrapped with the wood grain in it!!
Here's the door panel with the insert being worked on. I have to push it down in the crevis than let the glue dry and take a sharp knife and cut it!
I'll post pics of it in my car and the rest of the interior being suede'd just give me a lil bit and stay tuned!!

Wow, looks like a pain in the ass, wonder if the leather/vinyl inserts on our doors are glued down the same, I'll find out soon enough. Looks good pimpin, can't wait to see the final product.

Well I shop at Magnolia Hi Fi all the time and my buddy works there and I'm pretty much one of their demo cars, like I get discounts and they do a lot of free shit for me, so I got it through them. I got 1 sq. yd. for free for a test for them and then I ordered 5 more sq yd. of it yesterday.

Here are some pics of the door panel all done.
Here are some pics of my tweeter pods. These are the reason why I have to Suede the upper part of my door panel. Because the guy that made these didn't have the car and they were too tight of a fit so we had to cut some of my door panel and than he ripped part of my vinyl so I just figured I would redo the top part in suede as well.
Like i just posted, I'm a test subject for magnolia hi fi. So they have me do all this stuff to my car for cheap and then they take pictures of it and then they have picutres of it to show-off their talents.

u glassed that Door Sail piece?
that shit looks nice.
I'd have to see the suede in person,
grey or dark grey mightve been a better move then straight black.
looks real good nonetheless

hey guys. I got an update for you. I finally finished fiberglassing the rear deck, covered it in suede and installed the speakers. I also finished both door panels. Than I did the inserts on the rear panels and got to thinking about doing it on the top so it follows the line down the car. I also suede'd the armrest. I had to go to the junkyard cuz my armrest was broken and the guy there said I could only take the center console or nothing just to get the armrest. So I have the back half of the center console from a 1997 2.2CL that I will pretty much give away to anyone that wants it. other than that I just have to finish spray painting some pieces, install it and than enjoy it. Here are some pics of the parts I finished so far.
Here's the rear deck that I fiberglassed and installed the speakers. They are a 6 3/4" Pioneer PRS component speakers. I also have the 5 1/4" PRS's going in the front.

yea I wanna do something with it, but I don't wanna use green, grey, or black. So I'm sorta stuck unless there is a black/grey woodgrain we can get? cuz I ain't wrappin it in carbon fiber vinyl but now that I'm putting black in the car around the wood grain, it makes it blend in a lil better.

Originally I thought it looked horrible till u did the shots of the 2 panels together, personally I think you can leave it, unless you wanna paint it black or gray or something along those lines.

Does the film have the dark woodgrain pattern on it, or would it be something like window tint that you lay over the existing woodgrain? that may be interesting...
Also, I think wraping the woodgrain with perforated leather with some kind of red stitchwork would look quality.
