Don't know why pics are so small but....

Well Saturday started of quite early for me. Woke up at 9am. I was going to go meet Cocoa (Chris) over in Corona about 55 miles away from me. Before I was going to meet him I needed to pick up a few extra items.

I stopped at Jerry's the Brembo group buy guy. Nice guy fobby chinese dude in a little room with a warehouse in back... I told him I'd send more A-cl guys over to him. He saids he has the hook on other items that we might need and just to let him know... so future group buys well we can look into it through him too.

I get the fronts from Jerry and the pads but the rears are over at the other place in San Gabriel. Btw Jerry's shot was located in El Monte. So I drive over to the other store and DAYUM a hot red NSX parked right out in front. Turns out it is the guy working the counter Edward's to bad I didn't get a pic of it Im an idiot.

So I start the rest of the trek out to Cocoa's house... stopping on the way at VONs for a 12 of Corona's

I am driving up his road and I see a front grill on a black car that looks like mine and im like hey thats a CL... there is some Pauly Shore looking guy looking out the window(you will see the resemblance soon) so immediatly I know this is Chris... so he pulls a U cutting off some dude a stop sign and then I follow him back to his place. Get there and I meet his friend Mauricio (sp?) nice dude drives a 93 240sx plugs wires lowered rims straight pipe k&N and header?

So we pull the car into the driveway I say hi to his rents and they leave... I pull out the parts and we get to work on the front passenger side wheel... we were going to install the brembos and pads but we could not get the screws on the rotor off...(we don't need those screws right?) so I say fuck it just put the TEIN's on... Low an behold I tell Chris and Mauricio my vtec is the worst and my engine is cutting out when accelerating so we check the oil... good thing we did because I had almost none maybe a liter in there. So Chris and I head out to Walmart to get some oil. here is a pic of how much oil there was in the car well there was more but then the container spilled on the driveway since we forgot to move it when I backed down the driveway.

So anyway we get back from Walmart and Mauricio tells us that he didn't have spring compressors so when he took apart the stock spring and shock... the bushings blasted into the street... Well we lost a bushing it seems but that was ok... with a lot of forcing the fork thing on the end of the shock on we got the first side installed... was way to high so we moved it to 5 threads and set shock at 10 out of 16.

We need to go to drop off Mauricio's car at the audio car alarm place because he wanted to get his alarm installed since his car got broken into that week at the movies/mall. So we get there drop the car off and ride back in Cocoa's CL with no backseat im in the back... it is hillarious. Cocoa rips it everywhere.

We get back to the Chris's and pull apart the drivers side front and finish that off was a little faster .... Chris and I suck at using spring compressors by the way Mauricio left to go home real quick and told us what to do but we are idiots at spring compressors.

By then we need to go back to the alarm place... but the fuckers are taking forever so we end up getting food at some mexican food place not a bad cheeseburger... the waitress person has a lazy eye mauricio HAHA.

Get Mauricios car finally after an hour or so and head back to finish up the rear of my car before.





Get it all done but then we had a problem with the rear tein... whoops so chris climbed into the trunk to help out... here he is pauly shore himself.



So we got it in the rear drivers side squeeks and sounds like it is going to break or something because we got the bushings mixed up and I was to lazy to fix it that day... I'll do it sometime soon.

IMO my rims look much better now, anyway enjoy. and for u socal folk see u saturday.
