rebuilding my 1997 cl 3.0

well recently my car was set on fire by some ppl (haters) any way i had to buy the front bumper and a new ww lip also the hood since it caught in fire too this time i got the vis carbon fiber hood witch looks pretty nice i just need to re paint my car or paint it another color im not sure what color to put on it but im doing this by nov.
well here are some pics for it as is right now


i got the headlight allready i just need to install it
bumper is green

i need a grille i order it allready it should be here next week

Wow someone set your car on fire?! I'd want to kill someone for that! No wiring was damaged? Glad to see you've already got it almost fixed, gave u an excuse to get a really nice new hood too.

yeahh it was like at 2:00 am i was sleeping and all i herd was like a quick flame it was my car the cl and my brothers car that was parked right infront of it his was a 1990 honda civic hatch.. his car was burned from the inside and outside mine was just the front end. no wiring was messed up only the body and yeahh thats true i wanted to get that hood before they burned it but i didnt really need it till now..lol

damn man it sucks to hear. from the pics it looks like you are in a bad area in cali. yea i remember when stupid ass people stole lugs nuts from both me and huy(sleep deprived sleeper) and cause huy his wheel to fall off when he was driving off.

thats true ppl would do that. but i never had that problem here i live in socal l.a county..
and burning my car was the worst thing they did cuss i had my back windshield broken a while back im not sure if is the same person i dont even know why would they do that... but fuck that i got my self some security cameras that record day and night now

yea. from your sn and looks of it. im guessing you live in Torrance. lol i would spray paint the plywood black though.

Yeahh you are right i am around that area and i wish there was more ppl with cls out here ive seen some around but they are stock they dont really fix them up and i was thinking of getting rid of that plywood i think im going to get that done once o get my paint job done.

ah i see. i remember there was another Cl in that area but i dunno if he still has the CL. Btw make sure you secure the grill very well on the CF hood, the nut stems aren't long enough to secure properly. my grill ripped off on the 605. lol

im going to get the ebay grille i dont really like it i prefer the stock grille but it was hard to find and i probbly didnt have the right resources.. ohh well i got it already i am going to see if i could customize it probably put the acura logo in the middle see how that goes.
so you broke yours in the 605? where you stay at?

I want to know how to do the eyebrows on the headlights. And also i seen some headlights that have amber corner lights i want to know how they do that.

this is the most recent one i have. i haven't taken any in awhile. eyebrows, there are people before who used electrical tape for that. im not sure if dainfammus1 still has it.amber corners. pretty much the same way they blackhoused their headlamps. but use orange paint.

Not as much since I started going back to school, don't have any gas, and my dad is using my CL ATM. Planning to go to that Nov. 13th meet at The Hat in Temple City. Probably should hit it up.

its because i want to get more stuff for my car like the driver side fender since its falling apart i need a the drivers side mud flap and i need oem grille cuss i like that one better =)
and i want to meet with ppl that know where to find all that stuff around here.

No not yet i just replaced the right headlight
That was damaged..
And i made that grille fit the cf hood for now..
Planimg on getting the paint job sometime next month

i just got another screw and forced it since im just going to use it for now i should be getting my other grille tomorrow

Tanks i was goimg to get the oem used for $300 and i serched online abd saw the cf hood better for $425 new so i just got the cf hood better

When I got into an accident a while back, thats what stopped me from getting one. I coulda get the OEM hood brand new for like $400 or the ViS for like $450, but I didn't wanna deal with the oxidation possibility

I got it from a company called unifide distributions is located in pico rivera ca..
The cf hood is vis tho. They got me the cf hood and the ww lip for $596 new
And if it does oxidize can i just polish it or buff it with a polisher?
